@NiSiv4, Chinese nationalist and supposed "financial analyst", constantly makes things up when it comes to China. Here I called him out for being blatantly wrong. Of course, like most pro-China dweebs, he is deathly afraid of facts proving him wrong so he blocked me. Lmao.
Someone@someguy595

@NiSiv4 1. Low interest rate loans may be considered a form of aid 2. Japan's low interest rate loans to China amount to ~$60B in today's dollars 3. OECD's Development Assistance Committee included Japan's loans to China in their Official Development Assistance stats, aka they were "aid"

@WR4NYGov You are nuts thinking "large swaths of the US economy will resist AI deployment". It is being deployed all over the place in the US. I saw a doctor in my small hometown in the US over a year ago and he was using transcription during our convo for realtime AI analysis.

Prediction: China will win the AI race because it will dominate the demand side. Large swathes of the US economy will resist AI deployment - governments, education, health care, law, ports and railways, etc. High risk Democrats win next two elections and tank US AI development. Plus China has more electricity generation. I don’t see how Elon saves America from shooting itself in the foot.

China’s decision to build BeiDou is one of most pivotal things CCP has ever done. Iran moving to BeiDou is one of the best things the mullahs did. Hilariously, both are linked with the US cutting GPS to a Chinese ship that was heading to Iran being the origin of the program.
Dr. Ho Yinsen@kinjeketile

Per China Daily, fifteen years after the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) was launched, it was generating a turnover of $31.5 billion per annum.

@nerdtechgasm @TheSlySamurai Oh give me a break. Opposition parties are strictly outlawed in China because the CCP demands absolute control. China has imprisoned people for trying to start independent Communist parties when they felt the CCP was not communist enough.

Some of my takes on China from pre 2022 is absolutely retarded. I'd bring up the non-existent CIA psyop "Tiananmen massacre!" and the equally non-existent "Social Credit Score!", and ofc, bashing the CCP for being a tyranny, when they the ultimate representation of ppl power.

Absolute humiliation for Japan. North Korea officially rejects a summit with the Japanese Prime Minister. Experts reveal Pyongyang has zero incentive to negotiate because Japan's economy is rapidly weakening. The balance of power in Asia is shifting dramatically.

@DrewPavlou Boreham is head dunce of the CCP shill brigade. He got schooled so badly by the legendary John Simpson over his Tiananmen Square misinformation that he had to delete his tweet and whine about how "the world isn't ready for the truth" aka CCP propaganda. x.com/JohnSimpsonNew…

Most of this is untrue. Every student I spoke to in 3 weeks of demos wanted democracy, even if they didn’t know what it meant. Every soldier I saw around the Square was armed. Some were killed by ordinary Beijing inhabitants who backed the students, but not as many as 150-200.

@jakeshieldsajj These days "Communism" means a one party state with absolute political power that harshly suppresses any opposition while having State Capitalism as an economy. Let's see how well these political structures do when average GDP is only 2% and they have to deal with a recession.

I reached out to many overseas travel agencies that cater to visitors to Japan, asking whether they would consider including our café as part of their Japan sightseeing itineraries. Unfortunately, every single agency gave essentially the same response: “Why would anyone come all the way to Japan just to visit a British-style maid café? At the very least, you should be serving Japanese tea. Hahaha…” So please, especially if you’re from the UK or another country abroad, come visit our café.

@xuanalogue As an American, I strongly disagree with non-citizens and non-permanent residents engaging in activism or protests in the US except in very narrow circumstances. We have to live with the consequences of protests whereas you can return to your home country at any time.

I am glad to have been able to engage in activism & protest during my studies in the US. I long for a Singapore where that's also possible here, citizen or not. So many make SG a home, even if only temporarily, and they should be able to speak out for themselves, and for others.

@broodloper @LukeKen58777359 @War_Radar2 If you had even a scintilla of a clue, you'd realize the US cannot become a third world country unless something unbelievable happens like nuclear war. Geography, natural resources, demographics, and regional geopolitics all stacked for US success.

@Geopoli_tikus @sugrskllangelic @ConcernedPheas Those statistics are grossly wrong. 92% of Americans maintain health insurance, in large part due to ACA changes. I'm not going to waste my time debunking every made ip statistic you throw out. This is the end of the road bud.

I was just in China. Proof Pic attached. I saw a Chinese citizen get into a verbal altercation with a member of the government about a traffic light and they were cussing the whole government out in front of an official building. They definitely have free speech.

@JeanGreige It's embarassing how susceptible you are to really mediocre propaganda. You know people in china can't speak freely and the government lies constantly. Yet you choose to believe the best version of China promoted via propaganda. So Stupid.

@Geopoli_tikus @sugrskllangelic @ConcernedPheas 1. Well let's see... Obamacare/ACA, Criminal Justice Reform, Same-sex marriage legalization, Medicare expansion and drug pricing, EPA rules in reducing lead and improving air quality 2. Again, freedom of speech is not "the government allows me to fill out a complaint form."

@someguy595 @sugrskllangelic @ConcernedPheas the Chinese can protest/criticise/give feedback thru proper channels, and the govt responds to them. U guys love to do street protests but u get ZERO results. Lots of performances. No results. What a joke.

Sophisticated drones attacked the US base where we store the nuclear bombers… The drones: * Had non-commercial signals * Were resistant to jamming * Came in waves of 12-15 * Swept over sensitive areas of the base * Had long range control links * Were more advanced than anything seen in Ukraine (Russian drones) * Beyond Iranian capabilities Over the multiple days of incursion, local residents heard explosions which Barksdale claimed was “weapons testing” This is the second base incursion of a sensitive site IN THE US in the last 2 weeks.
Ari Schulman@AriSchulman

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. Barksdale is the HQ for our B52 nuclear bombers, it's where Bush sheltered on 9/11, and the drones are reported as "far more sophisticated than anything seen in Ukraine ... and well beyond Iranian capabilities."
