I'll give an example. When I saw Florence & the machine in April only 7 of the 21 songs were from the new album. 33% is arguably very low, but the ramaining 67% was split amongst their 5 other albums. Every album got at least one song. I think that is more the vibe peope wanted?

I think the issue for a lot of people isnt that 42% of the setlist was old songs, because that's a SUPER normal percentage, but rather how that 42% was just stick season.

@amandakegs @jessie_ttpd I think the issue that people have isnt that 42% of the setlist was old songs it's that 42% of the setlist was from his last album and his other previous albums were ignored completely. 42% of setlist being old material is normal, but he has a bigger discography than TGD and SS.

I think noah kahan's setlist is a good demonstration as to how hard it must be for artists to balance playing new material with fan favorites/old material. That being said, the ratio of 9 SS songs to 12 GD songs feels skewed and idk how to feel. 🫠
