Ok so as much as I’m still irritated at the writers over the Beth/rip scenes…I actually loved this. Carter is 19 not 16. It’s no shock that he is into girls and yes it was kind of disrespectful to have a girl in bed at his parents house but I love that Beth handled it this way.

@imsomethingbad There is one activity they are not doing enough of and it shows.

There's something off with Beth and Rip. I can't really explain it, but the energy between them feels different.

i know i've seen some people stressing but i'm here to say marshals renewed 12 days after premiere, madison got renewed for s3 one month later (s2 already was guaranteed), landman was 2 months after s1 ended and ys was just over a month after s1 started... we're so fine

Watching the latest episode of 'Marshals'. It's...not good. I've kept waiting for it to take off...it never did. This was a much tamer 'farmed out' show to CBS. Taylor Sheridan isn't the showrunner and he's not writing it, and man does it show. Sheridan written shows stand out, like the recent 'The Madison', and the new 'Dutton Ranch' show that just debuted on Paramount +. You can quickly tell if Sheridan is writing a show or not, just from the dialogue. Marshals is a paint by the numbers DEI show with the prerequisite 3 female Marshals team members along with the 3 male team members, one of whom is a watered Kayce Dutton from the Yellowstone series. It was nice at first to see some Yellowstone characters getting new life in a spin-off....until it became apparent this really isn't going much of anywhere. This isn't really Luke Grimes' show as Kayce Dutton; the other members of the ensemble cast have to be given things to do, their own subplots and character arcs, all 5 of them, in every 40 minute episode, and Grimes gets crowded into the background. Now that Dutton Ranch is here, an actual Taylor-Sheridan-run-and-written-show, Marshals is very likely gonna fade fast, unless it changes course.
