Noah has a bunch of fears about the mastering widget. But the widgets founder Sam Goetz convinced to try it: "It's in beta, so their could be bugs, but we're gonna print money."

@levelsio It may seem random which ones take off, but it’s not. Take a look at the viewer rentention graph on a videos analytics. Whichever videos keep viewers watching longer will be pushed in the algorithm. And all potential drop off happens in the first few seconds

TikTok update: I hired editors who cut up my video podcasts into clips Then I upload them scheduled as once per date (optimal for TikTok) Then some take off, most don't (which is how TikTok works) So all I need to do is go on video podcasts more = more TikTok clips

@mattzot Just that it works for me. More shots on goal. I keep them all up. I post on IG too, where they sometimes do well but take a while to grow in in views

@stemmer_io Any specific insights you can derive from it?

Testing new TikTok videos where I create the same video and change the first 5 seconds for different audiences based on location. There’s something with hacking the local algo. Example: “If you live in Pennsylvania, watch this” vs “If you live in one of these states, watch this”
