@Scott_Helme @wallboxchargers A quick Google suggests that they use a raspberry pi module, so it should have a full network stack, not some ropy best efforts implementation.

Okay @wallboxchargers, any chance you could pass this to the team responsible? A device on my network doing 1 DNS request every second is... really unnecessary!

Still absolutely drilling my DNS server! I tried resolving it to a local server to see what it'd do and it turns out the answer is... nothing. It resolves and then seems to be happy, it's not actually sending any traffic. I remove the record again and it's back!

Sorry @Bannatyne @DuncanBannatyne I’m not going to continue to pay £66 a month for cold pools! Lots of unhappy members at the moment. Suggest turning off some of the advert screens and lights instead.

@busjharv @DuncanBannatyne He's a canny lad is Duncan, we can all see the solar panels on the roof as well as the water harvesting. My local gym has ~3,500 members. Handily the Bannatynes app tells me how many people are in the gym at any time. It doesn't take a genius to work out the passive income here.

@stu_a_ @Bannatyne @DuncanBannatyne Same here in the North West. Tired changing rooms, tiles, showers, flooring, the sauna, the hot tub, the equipment came pre-loved from another Bannatynes, Now we endure cold pools and 50% of equipment is off. This isn't a sustainable business model.

@DuncanBannatyne I know you are a million miles away from what happens in your gyms, but when a decision is made in the comfort of a carpeted office, once it filters down to operations, it turns into a red line. Don't believe me? Come take a swim in one of your own pools.
