@bernkastelers That’s SO much of it!! Similarly when ppl used to say it was “imbalanced” how many wlw couples were in animation vs mlm, as if that’s not just a handful of shows ran by gay women. Like, there’s a lot more theatre about gay men for example for similar reasons!

@totallychaothic @miriodere @strawberryluvr3 I think there’s probably many layers. Fat men may feel emboldened to be more vocally cruel in person due to insecurity and proximity vs. other men who ignore and invisibilize fat women and prefer to mock them online/in private w other men.
