@totallychaothic @miriodere @strawberryluvr3 I think there’s probably many layers. Fat men may feel emboldened to be more vocally cruel in person due to insecurity and proximity vs. other men who ignore and invisibilize fat women and prefer to mock them online/in private w other men.

@strawberryluvr3 People are straight up telling fictional stories in the replies. “Fat men can still be mean to fat women” ofc. “Fat men are always far crueler to fat women than skinny/fit men are” is a fairytale.
