@morenocubanito @CoachDanGo @1Bprice I do understand zones. You dont understand vo2 It is relevant how you train zones. You cant get the same effects by just doing endless zone 1 as you can as getting to zone 5 with a cadence. Thats been debunked for a while. But you seem to think its true

@techsleyt @CoachDanGo @1Bprice You don't understand zones. Zones are just measurements, ranges and boundaries nothing more. How you do it is irrelevant. I don't chase perfection. If 1 carrots give you 100% of a nutrient and an apple gives half, I'll eat 2 apples because I like apples more.

@techsleyt @CoachDanGo @1Bprice I was speaking vo2 along with other zones like zone 2. Different measurements. Dude i'm a competitive cyclist i know what the differences are. I put more miles on my bike than my car. 10,000 to 12,000 miles a year. Even at my age. i'm just no delusional.

@techsleyt @CoachDanGo @1Bprice "as long" Again an oversimplified comment. You have to meet people where they are. And no the training will not offset that decline. The decline just slows down as you age but you will never be your younger self. You can always be a better version of yourself today.

@morenocubanito @CoachDanGo @1Bprice Also that is not v02 max training. V02 max training would be zone 2 80% of the time mixed with zone 4/5 training intervals. Its a triangle you want to maximize the area of…. Not just the width of the triangle.

@techsleyt @CoachDanGo @1Bprice Actually cardiovascular doesn't improve. Its why most men have heart disease. No one does zone 2 training which strengthens the heart for longevity. Everyone is gung ho high intensity big weights. Zone 2 training can walk up a 24 floor building and talk at the same time.

@morenocubanito @CoachDanGo @1Bprice Right i can agree its vanity in most cases… but i dont understand why you’re even drawing this point to me. Low body fat is indicative of lower visceral fat.. it still is useful for heart health. You’re still prolonging life in both cases

@techsleyt @CoachDanGo @1Bprice Its always diet. But as you age you don't maintain the same level of cardiovascular levels and metabolism. You VO2 levels decrease. Your max heart rate decreases. Your FTP power levels decrease if you do endurance training. And wear and tear of the body.
