@Prototype27F Has modern Chinese ever sinks any ships in that area? Those are needed to ensure no Western bullies dare to control. They have learned after three centuries of Western piracies.

@DUNKTASTIC0 @BrewersCaptain @BearsShowYo Hilariously wrong take. I donโ€™t live in Wisconsin. There is no fan base (other than the Boys) that has a more widespread base than GB. Again, consider educating yourself before opening your mouth

Land "value comes from everyone & everything around it."
Common Wealth ๐Ÿ@CommonWealth_ca

@ninaturner The best wealth tax is a tax on land wealth. It's the only form of wealth that directly impacts cost of living. It can't move. And unlike income from work, a business you built, or a house you construct, its value comes from everyone & everything around it.

@iey0beeW @JohnWake It terms of Georgism, why does it matter. Or are we building a political philosophy for only one moment in time ever and then never again?

@thatguydrew_ @JohnWake Correct, the supply changes from day to day. But at the discrete point in time where you make a decision, there is a fixed supply of housing, and of those, you make an economic choice to buy one over all the others that currently exist, a fixed supply.

@iey0beeW @JohnWake Also this isnโ€™t even true in the context. Iโ€™m buying a house right now. New houses enter or leave the market every day that I have to monitor

@thatguydrew_ @JohnWake I agree, the basis of georgism is a fallacy. The supply of housing is fixed. Again, that the future may result in more houses doesn't change that when you buy a house today, you are selecting from a fixed supply.

@thatguydrew_ @JohnWake It's always so cringey when you guys get to the point where you can't support your position any more. You just repeat your previously failed position and start insulting people.

@iey0beeW @JohnWake Ya your theory is impeccable. Pickup a textbook. You donโ€™t even understand what fixed supply is. And you most definitely have not read more than me we can go band for band boy

@thatguydrew_ @JohnWake that new homes can be built after one is bought does not change the supply of houses that exist at the time when it was bought. Supply is always fixed at the time you make a purchase.

@iey0beeW @JohnWake Do you think fixed supply means how much currently exist? Fixed means the amount cannot be changed. Like Land because you canโ€™t build or take away land (some small exceptions but essentially fixed)
