Honest question. Companies have completely stopped hiring entry-level juniors because Claude does the grunt work for $20 a month. But if nobody ever gets hired as a junior... Where do the next generation of Senior engineers come from?

If everyone has a million dollars. Everyone can go to Disney World. Unless Disney raises the prices of a ticket, the lines would be way to long. Ticket prices must increase to make Disney World enjoyable. AI won't fix the laws of supply and demand on human experiences.

the socialist answer to scarcity: pretend it doesn't exist by making everything 'free.' the market answer to scarcity: acknowledge it exists and create price signals that coordinate billions of individual decisions toward efficient allocation

@EndWokeness Nope, if western colonialism brings any positive, then just leave Africa alone, let them rise... Nah, the truth is without global South there is no such thing as Western civilizations.

@cboyack If your government cannot create wealth, it means either your government people or system is bad, or both. If your government can create wealth, maybe it is Chinese government. Period. If you don't like China, don't buy Chinese made products. Period.

@stepfanie No one hates billionaires, what we hates are billionaires with total assets of more than $1.001 billion dollars. Anyone can make business, but once his assets is more than the limit, he must limit himself, not destroying other business

If you hate billionaires, go all the way, pussy. Ditch the iPhone, the laptop, the tablet. Get off the internet. No Amazon, no big box stores, no Starbucks. Grow your own food. Thrift your clothes. Walk everywhere. And obviously no working for, buying from, or interacting with any company that scales beyond a farmers market. Enjoy your abundance.

@FixingEducation It doesn't apply to billionaires, it is only to support slavery, with no guarantee of better future. When better future is denied, then it is easy to blame by saying "you don't work hard enough before, it is your fault" Nice work, capitalists.

Mamdani hopes to make groceries more affordable by eliminating private profit and opening five government-owned stores. But profit margins are less than 2%. Without a profit motive government stores will be far less efficient, so without taxpayer subsidies, prices will be higher.

Woman says she served in the US Military, she went to college and became a nurse She says she did everything she was supposed to do. Her husband works at Intel. Even with both their incomes, they still can’t afford a home She is thinking of getting a second job because after paying $3,000 per month in rent, car payments and insurance they have almost nothing left “I did everything I was supposed to do. I went, I was in the military, I went to college, I worked and we can't buy a home. What did I do wrong?” America is not supposed to be like this. If you work hard you should be able to afford a home and have a good life

Venezuela didn't collapse into hyperinflation until 2013 — 14 years after Chávez took power Cuba didn't start eating zoo animals until 1994 — 35 years after Castro's revolution East Germany didn't build the Berlin Wall until 1961 — 12 years after going full socialist Europe can relax; they still have time to reverse course. The road to serfdom has plenty of exit ramps before you reach the final destination.
