It takes just one excuse to stop you from showing up.

Let me share a quick story with y'all.
A few days ago, I came across a creator whose content I really loved.
Great personality. Strong voice. Solid brand.
So when an opportunity came up that I thought she'd be a great fit for, I reached out to ask if she was interested.
And she was.
Before making the introduction, I did what I always do when recommending someone: I spent a few minutes scrolling through their page.
And mine, oh mine, that's where things changed.
Mixed in with the content were tweets dragging people, sexual comments, unnecessary arguments, and a bunch of posts that simply didn't align with the type of opportunities she said she wanted.
It was a reminder that as creators, we're not just posting for today.
We're building a digital first impression.
And while it's your page and you can absolutely post whatever you want, it's worth asking:
"If a potential client landed on my profile right now, would they be excited to work with me?"
That's a question I've been thinking about a lot lately.
Because follower count and content get the attention.
But positioning gets the opportunity.
Something to think about this morning.
