@philatrail I understand the logistics etc make it improbable but if this was to go on for a long time, I do wonder if you could run say a Gourock to Newton service via Cardonald and Pollokshields West using the various ECS spurs south of Glasgow. Would certainly provide more connectivity

Glasgow Central will not reopen this week, Network Rail has just said. It must wait for the fire service and city council to check the safety of the burnt out Union Corner building before it can check the station for damage. However, the low level station will reopen tomorrow.
