@threnye That's where I've land on it too. Which doesn't mean everything I write has to have it. But I've just seen so many instances where symbolism can and will be glossed over, and allegory is HARD.

What thoughts on Christian fiction would get you like this?
While I think the definition is too narrow & should be expanded to include stories with Christian themes & characters, I think removing the gospel from the genre entirely is a mistake. No one will share it if not us
