We're to chapter 11 and Bane has discovered that using the Dark side means it is probably using him and he is terrified because no one ever mentioned that bit. Will he be getting off the train? Something tells me no. I hate it here.

The moon just happens to be the right size and shape for total eclipses, which is astronomically unlikely. Sharks are older than the north star. We only exist because our tiny mammal ancestors happened to be napping underground when the asteroid struck. Insane.

Been reading a number of books on prehistory and every new fact has me reeling. Whales evolved from land mammals that spent so much time in the water they became whales. Earth might be the only planet with the right oxygen level for fire. Birds are, quite literally, dinosaurs.

You must be one tough bird! I was blessed not to have to have c-sections for any of mine. I had a very minor surgery last May and complained enough that I now have a lot of respect for all moms who went through that (I had respect before, of course, just double the amount afterwards, lol)
