My dad bought two gargoyles from the station, and when we built a house in 1970, they were incorporated into the interior of our home.

My decision to return to work was made when it seemed nothing was happening and there was no end in sight to this strike. Now that both sides have agreed to go back to the negotiating table I’m going to delay the return of Real Time, for now, and hope they can finally get this done.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to post a comment! When I first saw the photo, I thought it might be some sort of radio tower, and that’s certainly the consensus. I’m still not sure whether it’s a tower for a ham radio or a CB radio (which I’ve now learned are two completely different things). The below article explains the major differences. I’ll let you know if my son and his wife end up buying this home — and, if so, whether or not they decide to keep the tower. 😊

My friend just sent me this photo from where she’s staying in rural Switzerland. Says it's safe, reliable, and beautiful. These regional MUs connect medium-sized cities at a low cost. In America this would be unthinkable. What is the sickness that has infected our democracy?
