NM State Land Office turns down $800,000 offer from the Feds to purchase 7 acres of state trust land (grated to NM by the federal government) at the border near Santa Theresa. The Feds responded by seizing the land needed to build the wall via a condemnation paperwork. Play stupid games…..win stupid prizes. We could’ve gotten paid for that but no.
Jeff Rainforth@liberty_clarion

🚨BREAKING: The U.S. government is about to SEIZE border land in New Mexico to have the Wall built on it! This coming after that state's leadership Refused to allow it to be bought. The U.S. government filed condemnation paperwork today, and the wall WILL be constructed there! According to Yahoo News, the federal government filed "condemnation paperwork Friday ostensibly to seize a 7-acre parcel of state trust land along New Mexico's southern border, according to the State Land Office. In March, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol offered to buy the property near the Santa Teresa border crossing for roughly $800,000, writing in a letter the property was needed to "construct new border infrastructure ... namely, steel bollard border barrier, the installation of detection technology, and roads."" New Mexico state leaders refused the offer, though. Now, the land will just be Taken, and the much-needed wall WILL be built! Heck yeah, let's go! Build the wall! High, wide, and super electrified! Do it! America! 💥💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 **All photos are mine that I took. No AI.**

RIP Ernie. I think you’d be happy to know your home is now a city library.
Dr. Lemma@DoctorLemma

On this day 81 years ago, a man was shot and killed on a tiny island in the Pacific Ocean. He was not a soldier and he carried no weapon, just a notebook. His name was Ernie Pyle. He was a war correspondent. And by the time he died, he was the most famous journalist in the world. While other reporters covered generals and strategy, Pyle wrote about the ordinary soldier. The mud, the cold rations, the cigarettes shared in a foxhole, the letters from home that arrived weeks late. He did not write about the war from a desk. He lived in it. He slept in ditches, ate what the men ate, and shared their foxholes during shelling. He was once injured when a bomb hit the building he was in. His columns were published in over 400 newspapers and by 1944, more than 14 million people read him every day. He won a Pulitzer Prize and Hollywood made a film about him. But the soldiers did not care about any of that. They cared that he was one of them. He was the only journalist who bothered to ask their names. After covering the war in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, and France, he went home. He was exhausted and afraid, and he told friends he did not think he would survive if he went back. But in early 1945, he went to the Pacific anyway. He said the soldiers fighting there deserved to have their stories told too. On April 17, he arrived on a small island called Ie Shima, off the coast of Okinawa. The next morning, he was riding in a jeep when a hidden machine gun opened fire. He dived into a ditch with an officer beside him, and a few moments later he raised his head. A bullet hit him just below the rim of his helmet. He died instantly at 44 years old. His fellow soldiers buried him between an infantry private and a combat engineer. They did not put him in a separate grave. They buried him exactly where he would have wanted to be, beside the men he wrote about. They made a wooden marker and it read: “At this spot, the 77th Infantry Division lost a buddy. Ernie Pyle. 18 April 1945.” Not a journalist. Not a correspondent. A buddy. In his pocket, they found the draft of a column he had been writing but never finished. In it, he wrote about the men who were still fighting, and how he wished he could have been there when it finally ended. General Eisenhower said: “The soldiers in Europe, and that means all of us, have lost one of our best and most understanding friends.” He had once described a scene on Normandy beach the morning after D-Day. Soldiers’ personal belongings were scattered across the sand and he wrote about toothbrushes, diaries, Bibles, and photographs of families. He wrote about a tennis racket that someone had packed, believing they would actually get to use it. He wrote about these things because he understood that the way to make people care about a war is not to describe the battles. It is to describe the men.

So after work I text my friend and say “hey is dm’ing me asking me to call him, is everything ok?” A while later, after I guess she talked to him, she replies to say “oh yeah it’s about my birthday”, and proceeds to send me his number. He dm’ed me like 5 minutes later saying it was supposed to be a surprise and basically I ruined the birthday celebration!! Am I the trip to Miami? Was I wrong?? 😫😫

Ok so boom…. My friend’s husband dm’ed me asking me to call him and sent his phone number. Mind you, he’s cool but we don’t know each other like that, outside of her. So I assumed it may have been a mistake and didn’t respond. An hour later, he sends the same message, asking me to call. So I reply back and say “I’m working, is everything ok?” My friend has mild health issues and I was afraid something could be wrong. No reply.…..

@KOB4 Using eminent domain on this 7 acre border parcel is essential for border protection and NM will receive about $800,000 in fair compensation. Much better than the tiny revenue this land produces “for schools.”

John Eastman once told me the relentless demonstrators against him in Santa Fe had to be on someone’s payroll. Why else, he asked, would people gather on the same busy corner day after day to root for his indictment and disbarment? sfnm.co/4cQ90TV

🚨 WATCH the video below. This man threw a fist-sized rock through one of the windows at our HQ office. He threw it into an area of our office that is almost always occupied with someone sitting at a desk. Luckily, the person who normally sits at that desk showed up less than 12 minutes after this rock was hurled. 12 minutes. Had this person thrown the rock 12 minutes later, it could have resulted in a serious injury and, yes, even someone being killed. LET'S BE CLEAR: The way we treat people in our country who we disagree with is NOT okay. 1 year ago, our office was firebombed and nearly burned down completely by someone who "disagreed" with what Republicans stood for. We are grateful for the first responders who kept us safe, those who have reached out, and those who have condemned this publicly. But this will NOT stop if we continue to normalize this behavior. The only way we settle our differences in this country is AT THE BALLOT BOX. Not with hurling rocks or firebombs, but by casting our vote.
