We just hired our 2nd eng. Shmood now has alumni from Apple, Google, Cornell, Duke, and Palantir. We are a bunch of left and right brainers with amazing technical abilities and good taste (and style). BUT the most important thing about this team is the deep empathy we have for creatives. We genuinely care (and are also building for ourselves) — and that is what drives our speed of learning, iteration, and innovation. I have never experienced such electric customer and team calls — waking up and working with THIS team on Shmood FOR our users feels like a dream. We might not be what you think of when you think of a B2B saas company, but that is exactly why we will win.

The best feedback is negative. Start off with understanding the 'why' of your client. Be collaborative and don't be afraid to show your scribbles and process. Clients want to feel involved.
