As of Fall 2021, Wake Forest has an undergraduate enrollment of 5,441. On Saturday, 4,233 WF students attended the Deacs football game vs. Duke. Add in 128 football players & the total was 4,361. 80% of Wake's student body was at Truist Field on Saturday. That's pretty crazy.

@ConorONeillWSJ I wonder if he was getting concerns near the end of the process about Wake possibly getting left out entirely? I feel sorry for any 6-6 teams that were left out. That happened to Wake several years ago (I believe under Coach Grobe.)

Dave Clawson says on conference call that Wake Forest didn't know where it was going until 30 seconds before news became public.
