Why didn’t Fox just hold the ball?

Oracle $ORCL numbers were fine but once again...street's having a hard time adjusting to this much equity/debt being raised: - $40B of NEW debt/equity for FY 27 - Raising capex from $70B to $90B Now, RPO was a massive increase from 553B to $638B, guidance was raised, they beat on Revenue/EPS, but it just feels like the market is tired of this much capital being raised for datacenters...even though all the growth is coming from the datacenter business. $ORCL -6.2%

$ORCL is early to one of the largest AI infrastructure buildouts in the world. If OCI keeps growing near these rates, cloud growth accelerates above 50% and customer prepayments reduce the funding burden then this selloff may eventually look like the painful funding phase before the harvest phase. Oracle now has to prove that massive AI demand can become massive shareholder value without too much dilution.

$ORCL is partnering with OpenAI to make OpenAI’s frontier models and Codex easier to access for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers. This gives OCI enterprises a more direct path to build and scale AI applications on OpenAI’s latest models.

@BossMoveJB @CuffsTheLegend That’s what I’ve been saying. Wemby can score but when he’s struggling they need those 3 to be aggressive. Fox needs to go back to those kings days. Castle is a big guard and can get to the bucket whenever he wants. Harper is NOT a rookie. He plays like a vet and is so smooth.
