@rcollison12 @unbiasedwnba I agree with most of this. My only minor pushback... in the 2nd half of her rookie year her rebounds were because the other team needed to get their ass back on defense. She wasn't blocking out but was dictating why no one else (other team) was around the rim.

@unbiasedwnba Her coaches aren't dumb, she's rarely guarding an impact offensive player. A little to keep her out of foul trouble, but mostly so she doesn't get worked. Just my take. You certainly can disagree.

Why is Clark thought of as an awful defender, but not people like Diggins, Ionescu, Gray etc Clark is average. Not bad, not great. But there's plenty hella worse with wat lower offensive upside that people never bring up?

@DavidEickholt The NCAA has become weak. Cooperating is their chance to flex their failing muscles, instead of being appreciative. What a sad organization.

@DBGyt_ She shoots logo 3's like Curry but that doesn't mean she needs to do everything like him. The greatest scorer in NCAA history wss a ball dominating PG and one of the best assists leaders. Why would you change that formula?

Every coach that comes up against Caitlin says their gameplan is to take the ball out of her hands... Every coach Caitlin has had at the pro level has made it their mission to play Caitlin off the ball as much as possible & accomplish opponents gameplan for them...

My two cents..... almost all parents would agree with this. The problem is with many of them the blinders suddenly come on when it comes to their kid. THE EXCEPTION!

Can two things be true at the same time? IMO KF is still going strong in his 70's because he's fundamentals over scheme. But he had to fly across the country to see his son because of fundamentals over scheme or at least too much so.

@RyStar7_ 💯 agree. And sometimes love/have your back means having a conversation from time to time that's not "pleasant" but truthful. A lot of layers to this.

Imagine being a high school recruit. You certainly have zero idea who your teammates will be. Which is why I’m 100% on board with committing to a head coach and staff you love that loves you back. Everything else is secondary.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Henry Mason. He was a staple of our program for nearly 30 years, as an assistant coach and liaison to NFL teams and high school coaches. A friend and mentor to so many, we’re grateful for our time with him and our thoughts are with his family.
