Ok. A day later and here’s are some of my thoughts: 1) I’m sure Indiana is the last place Raven wanted to come to, considering the history. It’s not her fault she was drafted her, so to take it out on her isn’t fair, and I haven’t really seen that. So as unhappy as some Fever fans are, I’m sure she isn’t happy either. 2) Don’t be gaslit, it’s totally OK with being upset at the Fever Front Office if you don’t agree with the pick. It’s not racist because you expected us to draft a big, or because you thought there were better options on the board, regardless of narrative the ops push. They have double standards when it comes to the Fever and their fans. 3) Caitlin and Raven will be totally fine with each other. They win or lose together, and everything I’ve ever heard about Raven and CC, is they are both great teammates so I’m not sweating that at all. 4) Ravens a great defender, who like a lot of great defenders, can struggle on offense. That’s why Hannah Hidalgo is so special because she’s able to do both. So you know with Raven you’re going to get insane production from a defensive standpoint and limited offense. She can also get the ball to AB which has been a struggle without Caitlin. 5) Amber is totally gaslighting all of us by saying she thought Raven was a top 5 pick. There is no draft model that had that, and it’s insulting our intelligence and overselling her to the fans which makes unhappy fans, more distrusting. Lastly - Ravens on the team now. I purchased AB Merch, Kelsey Merch, CC Merch, (gulp) DeWanna merch…and even Natasha Howard merch. Im going to support Raven and I really hope and pray she crushes it, along with Mo, Ty, and MHA. We need some fun, winning basketball. The Fever org, now that they made their selections needs to deliver the product on the court.
