@4995s Honestly sometimes I start to sympathise with him feeling like he doesn't stand a chance next to Eddie, but then I remember he met both of them beforehand and chose to put himself in that situation

i don’t think Connor and Kamron would just put it in their will that their baby would go to Buck if something happens to them without asking Buck

Why would I use jarlic when I could dirty a knife and cutting board and spend 10 minutes peeling 4 garlic cloves, another 10 looking for my garlic press, and then clean up all the peels

@FranklinH3000 @jstjakethnking There was also a collection of short stories about alternative history for teens that included one where Nelson Mandela died in prison, or at least so I've been told

@jstjakethnking That makes sense, although I still had never heard of anyone misremembering this particular thing until I heard Mandela Effect for the first time. It's not like the Fruit if the Loom cornucopia.

The funny thing about the Mandela Effect is I never thought Nelson Mandela died in prison and I don't know anyone who did.

@Pom_Bazooka You don't know the context Lots of worksites bring fuel to the construction vehicles because they're so heavy that driving them to the gas station would be a waste

sometimes AUs need to be respected just because they are part of fandom cultural history. "oh this character would NEVER work at a coffee shop!" well too bad this isn't about the character this is a rite of passage for a ship and you will respect your roots

Rx True story: When I was an intern, I had my primary care clinic at the Philly VA hospital. There was a double amputee Vietnam veteran who volunteered there and was a patient of the attending whose office was across the hall from my clinic room. He was an affable guy, and we chatted on several occasions. He rolled into my room one day between patients. He said his PCP wasn't there that day and he was wondering if I could write an RX for Viagra for him. I asked him a few perfunctory questions, and he had no contraindications so I said, sure. He then asked me for a paper RX because he could get them cheaper at an outside pharmacy than at the VA. Again, I said sure. I wrote for ten 50 mg tablets, told him to start with 1/2 tab to see if that's sufficient and I had him go on his merry way. About an hour later, VA Police came to my door and asked me if I knew Mr. So-and-so. I said yes. They asked me if I wrote him a Viagra Rx for an outside pharmacy, and I said, again, yes. Then I asked why. The officer informed me that he took the prescription to them and told them that I was forcing him to fill a prescription for 100 Viagra tablets so that I could sell them on the black market. I said, "Oh? I wrote a prescription for 10 tablets, may I see the RX?" He handed me the RX which said: Viagra 50 mg # 10 (Ten Tablets) Take 1/2 to 1 tablet 30 minutes before intercourse EXCEPT the the second line had an extra zero in a different handwriting (I hatch my zeros) and Ten Tablets was scratched out and said (One Hundred Tablets), again in a different handwriting. I looked at the officer and said, "Clearly the prescription was altered, by a rank amateur no less." He smiled at me, and said 'we figured, we just wanted to let you know.' I told him thank you and informed him that I was going to alert the volunteer's PCP to the events of the day.

@RichieBrave Either they're giving people different prices based on how much they think you'd pay, or they need a sales person on the line ready to convince you before they mention price Either way it's bs
