Thank you Football Weekly @maxrushden @bglendenning @guardian_sport and gang for getting me first round of chemo - from Rick the Manc in San Francisco. There I was, just easing into the Euros when out of the blue I learned I had asymptomatic leukemia, & 21 days of round 1 chemo

@maxrushden @bglendenning @guardian_sport Boy I needed a distraction, and you stepped up. I managed to keep my steps up pacing the ward at night, the highlight of which was listening to you lot, guffawing out loud at ChefsKissGate in front of mystified night shift nurses.

Best frog song? @BBC6Music Here's a surreal one - Monkey gone to heaven by the Pixies. Why? 3 Brits on a US road trip in the 90s, playing Doolittle non-stop, we convinced ourselves it was actually Frog gone to heaven. Also saw a UFO but thats another story @mountainhippo
