How to be an Ethical Transsexual: 1) Be at least 18 years old and not have a criminal history of violence, sexual assault, etc, etc. 2) See a mental health therapist, or maybe more than one, for many months, maybe even years, if necessary. This is not just an hour visit. 3) Receive a diagnosis of complete gender dysphoria or gender identity disorder. Not just one or two criteria, but ALL of them. With no significant comorbidities. 4) Demonstrate sincerity and potential passibility by living full time socially transitioned and be successfully accepted by others. 5) Take cross-hormones and report satisfaction with both the physical and mental results. 6) Have sex-reassignment surgery of your primary genitals. Full commitment. 7) Change your legal sex on all your government documents. 8) Behave, youโ€™re still a guest. You have no natural rights. You only have been granted legal rights that can change. Donโ€™t abuse the privileges. There is no such thing as non-binary. There is no self-id. Gatekeeping with high standards is good for safe-guarding both the patient and society from harm. There is not currently sufficient evidence for โ€œgirl/boy brainโ€ or innate gender identity. But even if there was, I doubt it would ever be enough to claim natural rights. Itโ€™s all about the gametes. While taking cross-hormones does change cellular functions and modify the body and brain structures, it still doesnโ€™t change your sex. And neither does surgery. However, collectively having โ€œgirl/boy brainโ€, taking cross-hormones, and having surgery all contribute to being a person who can successfully assimilate and be considered for extension of legal rights.

@JimmyRex Oh good. I have a friend who had a few copies and sold a couple. Thatโ€™s when he found out that the maid had been cutting pages out of one of them and selling these pages on eBay.

Define โ€œtransโ€, The US Federal Government passed the 1977 Model State Vital Statistics Act that directed states to allow transsexuals who had undergone a sex-change operation to change their birth certificate so that they might assimilate into society. California was the first state to comply. Utah had done this in 1975. Transsexuals had our rights decades before gays and lesbians. So who were the โ€œtransโ€ wanting rights in 2015? The transvestites. The men who wanted to be seen as women unwilling to have surgery. So they had to come up with a new requirement to justify transvestites as women by eliminating any requirements. They invented self-id. They invented the gender spectrum. They invented non-binary. The last 10 years hasnโ€™t been about winning rights for transsexuals. But these posers are spoiling it for everyone and we are now losing rights weโ€™ve had for 50 years.

After the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in the US in 2015, the fight for gay rights was complete. That is why all the "non-profits" shifted to "queer," "non-binary," and trans in order to have new "issues" to fight for to continue their funding. If the goal of a non-profit is not to complete the goal of the non-profit and then shut down once complete, then they are not a non-profit to begin with.

The only reason the ability to get pregnant is โ€œreducing women to their bodiesโ€ is because trans women canโ€™t surgically access it. You donโ€™t see anyone arguing that โ€œwomen have boobsโ€ reductive specifically because trans women can get those
โ™ก mari/cohe โ™ก@noinconsistency

TERFs when you tell them reducing women to their ability to get pregnant is just misogynistic and not some thought-provoking trans-destroying argument

Lol, its really crazy that she is so lost in the brain rot of 'true transsexualism' that she can with a straight face call a post op trans woman not a woman simply because I could have sex as a teenager. That was her take away from my post. Not the trauma that I have from shit she participated in. Not at all beating the allegations that they are simply TERFs who just happen to be trans women. And they wonder why more people dont want to be a part of their "movement."

@Invisible_TSW @fx6uun Because thatโ€™s usually where the argument goes that women canโ€™t be just gametes because misogyny and some women donโ€™t have them, therefore if women can be women without their gametes then men can also be women without those gametes if they have any of the zillion other stuff.

@Invisible_TSW @fx6uun Infertile women donโ€™t validate men as women. Women are women. And finding some 1 in a billion DSD still wonโ€™t validate the millions of normal men as a women.

@fx6uun If someone claims that woman is "when they produce gametes", that actually look away from zillion of aspects of woman's life experience. And if anyone beliefs, that only reproduction is what makes a woman a woman, then it is misogynist, because some women cannot reproduce.

@Invisible_TSW @JennaLizzy So like now there are gold star transsexuals? ๐Ÿคช Perhaps the problem with the purity testing is that itโ€™s not entirely clinical but personal. How do you validate this person, but not that person we donโ€™t like?

Youโ€™re absolutely right. I wouldnโ€™t have been classified as transsexual under DSM-III. Why? Because my parents took me to a therapist in 1979 the year before it was published. I was early onset and had tried three times to castrate myself with the onset of puberty and was not desisting. Glad we clarified that.

I began transitioning in high school and was transitioned when I got married. What would be ethical? I told the girl I had started dating I was transsexual and she dumped me. We got back together months later and she helped me transition further. After several years, she asked me to marry her. By that time I didnโ€™t own any male clothes. I put off medical transition till after having my kids. There are no words for the despicable trooners who come out as โ€œtransโ€ after they are married and have kids. But frankly, most probably didnโ€™t know before.

@vahetzi I think it is perfectly fine to transition after having kids but I just see this lecturing post about our supposed ethics as more of a personalized check list. Like sure this conveniently works for you. I just think ethics should be more universal and less bias.
