I'll be honest, I know very very little about this trans woman but Ive continued to watch her be on the receiving end of a mass harassment campaign and that fucking sucks. Ive been there and it really fucks with your mental health. But even worse is going into the comments of the original post and its a bunch of cissexual bitches as usual speaking for trans people on what is and isnt transphobic. Its really starting to piss me off. I dont give a shit what "problematic" views this trans person has, this harassment campaign shit needs to stop and trans people especially need to stop eating their fucking own. Im seeing an awful lot of the typical leftist woke trans people being completely okay with all of this shit. Christ, we have more important shit to be fighting over right now.

On a whim, I decided to swap out the cheap 43-inch TCL 4k TV I was using as a monitor for streaming stuff, and I switched it out for my far superior 55-inch LG 4k TV from my bedroom, which I maybe use twice a month. I figured it would be better put to use as part of my PC setup. Thoughts on how it looks? It took me three hours to find a way to safely mount it without breaking it. My arms are dead tired from lifting it, though, lol.

@JennaLizzy Okayyyyyyyy. This comment alone gives me enough reason to keep my account. 💚Just wish I had a little bit more interaction from people within the community. It’s mainly old men flirting with me or transphobes and that makes me feel like I’m just shouting out into the void.

Think I might delete my account tbh. I get more interactions from transphobes and others than I do my own community. Might need to restart.

@JennaLizzy For sure. There's no real expectation or anything. The best way to break the ice is to just crash the VC and ask if you can join whatever we are playing or suggest a game. I'll be pretty busy till Sunday night but I'm off Monday. We mostly are active rather late for my time zone.

Sure, but staying there with people talking about their “curse” or “t poisoning” is objectively weird, I knew that before I realized I was trans Why would I want to see myself like that is the question I still ask, and I struggle with dysmorphia too so it’s not that I never hate myself or what I see in the mirror. Making that hatred part of my identity doesn’t make sense though, that’s not what healing looks like

It’s kinda fascinating how Brianna Wu seems to live in a fantasy world where every measure taken against trans people has her saying “WELL you wouldn’t do this to ME, right?” But then she repeatedly just goes “ah well, I guess so :(“

Today I finally found out why I've been physically feeling extremely fatigued and having to rely a lot on my ADHD meds to get me up and going for the day for many months now. I did like 30 labs yesterday, and according to my doctor, it's clear as day that I have hypothyroidism. I'm glad I decided to go to the doctor. Just requires a daily medication to fix. Nice to know that all of my body aches, pains, fatigue, and sleepiness in general can all be fixed pretty easily.

I may have changed my intellectual ethos over the past few months, but I'm not going to discredit my intellectual work from the past. In this case, I came up with a clever way to turn a TERF talking point into something humorous. I thought it was funny then, I still think it's funny. There is nothing about this that has anything to do with my feelings on TS separatism. It doesn't go that deep.

@JennaSpeaksUp I'm just confused by the idea of reposting an old post that has the word 'transgender' plastered all over it when you no longer think that way. It feels extremely counterintuitive. Are you rethinking TS separatism? It feels like your views have been shifting.

Did you know that Jesus was transgender? 🏳️‍⚧️ He had no father, therefore did not inherit a Y chromosome. He had two XX chromosomes. Therefore, Jesus was a trans man. If you accept the Virgin Birth, you already accept sex development outside of the strict biological norms and binary. So the existence of trans people is far less scientifically extraordinary than Christianity's central miracle.

@radfemelf It was just a viral post of mine that really pissed TERFs off and I used it this morning to retort Rep. Nancy Mace being transphobic out of humour. I don't deeply think about Christianity or the sex of Jesus.

Gosh, I'm becoming so happy with how the rebuild of my feminist library is coming along 😊 I lost my entire library in 2021 when I quickly left an abusive relationship. I had to leave my library behind. I'm trying my best to rebuild it, particularly focusing on Fourth Wave feminist theory. I have another book by Laura Bates and Roxane Gay coming in tomorrow. I'm so excited!
