As an AD, I encourage parents to ask their kids a simple question: would you rather contribute to a winning program in a smaller role, or play every minute while consistently losing by large margins? There’s value in both, but the answer reveals a lot about priorities.

We had 16 uniformed officers. County and state police stationed all over the arena. I personally spoke to the crowd before the game explaining we would not tolerate anything. I was on the PA at every break in the last few minutes reminding people to stay off the floor…and then…all hell broke loose! Explain to me what “more security” is…should we have the national guard there for a tournament!? We had 29 other games that went off without out an issue! TWENTY NINE!

Make sure we understand — Poyen hosted the tournament and had NOTHING to do with what happened.
I said it on Facebook and took plenty of punches for it, but neither Barton nor England should be eligible to compete for a state championship next week. This is disgusting.

The problem is we as coaches have made this the “standard”…we brag all the time about the hours we work…the time we spend away….thats not working hard! Working hard is being a good steward with your time! Work and work your tail off…but HOURS don’t equal hard work! Only so many times you can watch a film and get something from it! A 4-3 is a 4-3!!!

@Dykesdp33 @CoachCFish @coachdeesmith 14 years as a head coach, and we only worked on sundays during playoffs bc of late film exchanges(before Hudl) and if we had a Thursday game…we(coaches) have created a stupid stupid world! It’s 365 for kids and 365 for coaches…

She’s ok! lol…I just hate seeing people get blasted that can’t defend themselves…especially if it isn’t true!
The recruiting process for parents is hard sometimes…but that doesn’t give the right to bash people…and have people calling for their heads 6 months into the job! Especially….when it’s false!
