@salltweets Good on you. This will be the opinion of the high court that this law is acceptable regardless of the reality and the wishes of the Australian people. An absolute massive challenge that places the judiciary above the people's parliament.

Giggle has applied to have Giggle v Tickle heard in the High Court. “We have filed for special leave in the High Court… Because the federal court is saying men can be women in law & making women only spaces effectively unisex, we are going to the High Court to challenge that.”

@strangerous10 Raf doesn't like when the media can't control the narrative. He hates that his editorialising his self interest is being rejected. And he still hasn't figured out that he is the reason why PHON is appealing.

Raf Epstein calls out blatant favouritism media gives Pauline Hanson “She could never say ‘show me the good Jews” “She says that about Muslims” “If she said that about Jews there’d be a discussion on this couch whether or not she should be prosecuted under hate laws”💥🎯 #auspol

@AlboMP @Socceroos Where are the other two flags? It's a pity that even though Australia paid for the Comm games to be held in Glasgow you decided not to help an international sporting event bigger than the world cup. We could be cheering for our team from the stands.

@QuentinDempster Tingle's analysis fails to mention the current state of the UK's budget that has welfare as the greatest costs to the economy. She ignored Starmer's govts is controlled by the socialist left ideologically opposed to defence for their hatred of Nationalism.

@SatPaper Absolute BS. Albanese lied. Then is using the left-wing media to sell it for him by editorialising the his attempts at socialist redistribution. And Paul's pathetic article just proves it.

Anthony Albanese’s burst of courage, changing his election campaign position of doing nothing on significant tax reform, has triggered more than the expected sound and fury. It is also proving a net positive for his government, writes Paul Bongiorno. satpa.pe/eL4zG1o

@QuentinDempster @Sam510113785414 But Howard took it to an election. Albanese didn't. He decided to make Canberra's progressive media try to sell it by using them to editorialise his failed budget.

@Sam510113785414 Howard and Abbott broke their “never ever” “dead, buried, cremated” promise and introduced consumption tax (GST) after ‘96 election. ✅ It was in the national interest: Lesson? Pollies shouldn’t make promises as part of adversarial games.

Conflict of vested interest is now blatant in Rupert/Lachlan Murdoch’s NewsC outlets’ coordinated smearing of the federal government’s negative gearing/CGT reforms to arrest market distortion. Murdochs have majority share in REA Group, Australia’s biggest property market website.
Crikey@crikey_news

Opinion | News Corp’s controlling share of real estate company REA Group is worth about $13.75 billion — about 65% of News Corp's entire market value. No wonder The Australian is tut-tutting so hard. crikey.com.au/2026/05/20/tax…

I’ve been involved in politics since 1983 including as an adviser to Bob Hawke and as a Labor Cabinet Minister. The Liberal Party trying to emulate One Nation is folly (and bad for our country). They are sacrificing their few remaining moderates. They cannot outdo One Nation.

I am not going to cop the ABC - or other left wing media - complaining that we have not done enough to guarantee petrol and diesel supplies. For years these organisations have run activist campaigns against my attempts (and others) to drill, baby, drill. They can't turn around now and whinge ... where are the fossil fuels! Maybe after an equal number of pro oil, pro gas and pro coal stories they can be forgiven, but I won't hold my breath!

Lovely to see my brilliant friend Allegra Spender presenting principled and detailed proposals for tax reform at the National Press Club. We need the government to commit to significant tax reform to address increasing intergenerational inequity. Young Australians deserve nothing less.

Incredibly frustrating to have a govt which purports to care about climate change but which refuses to adequately tax our fossil fuel exports, continues to approve new coal and gas facilities, hides climate impact reports, and defunds the only federal scientific unit able to measure air pollution, greenhouse gases, and global warming. theage.com.au/environment/cl…
