There was discussion about the success of The Dakota Incident, but nothing new was announced. I did get word that if anything new happens on the Milestone front (which is entirely possible), it won’t be announced for a while. But DC has seen the movement.

Seems Ninja Gaiden 4 sales are truly abysmal, sadly. Back in December I estimated the game had still to sell 1M units. Koei Tecmo now disclosed sales numbers for the series: 7.5M. That number is approx the same as estimates I got from researching the series' sales back in December. Caveat: being a game co-developed by Platinum Games and published by Microsoft, one can wonder if these latest sales figures from Tecmo even include NG4 (?). I'll assume they do anyway. It's safe to assume NG4 sold at least 250k units (even if we only take into account Steam data). Numbers for PS5 and Xbox however are mostly unknown, publicly. All things considered, I would estimate total sales of the game range somewhere between 500k and 750k at the moment (I could be wrong, of course). And yes, the game is on Game Pass, I'm aware. *Ninja Gaiden is one of my favorite franchises ever in gaming. I care. And that's why I hope the IP can sell well, so we can get more from it in the future. And before anyone asks for sources: this is my work!
