Attending the NDP convention’s leadership showcase has made it incredibly clear to me that all candidates have powerful policy ideas for everyday people and workers in Canada, and have strong organizing work ethics to fundamentally build a political party for the people and by the people in Canada. And highlighting an absolute need for a party that is rooted in social political movements. A true movement party is desperately needed to fight fascism. Whoever ends up winning the election tomorrow, I hope the NDP draws upon all the organizing efforts of the five candidates and continues to build to be a strong force for human rights for all.
