I don’t know what to say anymore. As doctors, we can’t stop a genocide and we can’t end a famine. We provided a diagnosis - genocide. We provided a prescription to end the genocide - for Canada to end its complicity and direct involvement in Israel’s crimes now.

It was despicable to hear his defence in court heavily relying on a psychiatrist explaining that his medical conditions of diabetes and PTSD contributed to his violent behaviour of punching and striking down the young female protester to the ground.

I attended the court hearing on June 5 for this Swiss man who physically assaulted a young female protester outside the CANSEC fair in Ottawa in 2024. He didn't even show up to court today for the resumed sentencing hearing. No one is above the law. cbc.ca/news/canada/ot…
