china just opened a fully automated restaurant in hangzhou 10+ robots running the kitchen. noodles cost $1.38, coffee 84 cents and ice cream 42 cents. the stir fry bot trained on 100+ dishes and mimics pro chef wok technique the noodle station spits out a bowl in 3 minutes. locals say they can't tell a robot made their food what's even more interesting to me: it also serves as a community dining hall for local seniors robots handle all the cooking so the staff can actually spend time with the old folks at the tables instead of being stuck in the kitchen automate the repetitive stuff, keep humans where they matter if you want to see what the future looks like, just look at China

All work will be automated. There will be no work left. Without ensuring that peoples material needs are taken care off, this will be a dystopia where Elon Musk owns everything. And everyone else will starve to death. The most important thing that humans need will be: 1) Food 2) Shelter For shelter, we need very low cost 3D printed or robot assembled homes made from cheap materials. Additionally, that requires land. Or perhaps we can construct floating homes on the ocean. For food we also need to massively reduce the cost of carbs, fats and protein. Either by growing natural foods more economically through technology. Or by growing synthetic food. It should be possible, since we are already able to take care of 8 billion people's needs. Not fully, but sufficiently for them to survive. And that without the full proliferation even of today's technology and without the full use of all the natural resources or land we have. However, the challenge is distribution of resources. Economic inequality leads to a large chunk of humans living in absolute poverty, while 0.001% of humans own 4 times as much as half of humanity combined.

@ITAAirways If you are not European, do NOT fly with ITA Airways. They can block you from onboarding if they think you will overstay in Europe. You won't get your ticket refunded either.

@FurkanGozukara Why do we want any random dude to own our social media and trust that stranger? What we need is a self-owned open-source account, so nobody can mess with it: x.com/IntelGeoPol/st…
IntelGeoPol@IntelGeoPol

X claims it has freedom of speech but if your posts don't align with Elon Musks agenda, he will automatically limit your reach. On TikTok, I grew over 108,000 followers but I no longer post there since the account is not actually mine. Censorship prevents me from posting what I want to say and my account can be banned after 3 warnings. True freedom of speech is not given, it is taken. And the only way to take it, is to OWN your social media accounts. So nobody can take them away. It is not even difficult. I built this mini page in an hour and host it myself. Here I can post what I want, and I added a connections tab where I can add other people's self-hosted domains so I can import their posts too. Nobody can take it away from me. I also don't have to pay a subscription to Elon Musk or see any ads. Do you want to use it to? I don't have a .com domain to share with you, since it is not centralized. Instead I have a GitHub and GitLab link with instructions on how you can run your own instance: You need vercel (or your own server) and MongoDB. It's a bit technical to set it up. I hope in the future we can make it even simpler. GitLab: gitlab.com/vuapo-eth/soci… GitHub: github.com/vuapo-eth/soci… Once you have set it up add my own profile `vuapo.qame.org` to your connections. You will appear in my followers and I will follow you back so we can exchange our posts. If social media and human civil society have a future, it is decentralized.

What Hasan Piker said is literally saying same for Nazis but shameless Twitch banned him 7 days If he wasn't a very popular streamer they would ban forever probably This is why we need alternative true free speech non-Zionists owned platforms like UpScrolled

I added up 9 years of VAT payments last night. €78,000. More than everything I've saved. That's one day a week, every week, for nine years. If you're self-employed in Europe, do the math on yours. The number will make you sick.

@victor_bigfield AI is actually doing the opposite. Ideas become more valuable and execution becomes less valuable. Everyone can generate a landing page in seconds with v0 now.

Elon Musk: If we captured a millionth of the sun's energy, that would be 1000x as much as we could produce on earth. What would we do if energy was super abundant? What would we use it for? Also sounds like a counter-terrorism challenge.

There are 3 ways to make money with AI - create a SaaS - generate digital products - automate internal business processes The last one is probably the most reliable but it requires to have access to a business (your own or someone else's) to understand what they need.
