I still use notion when I need to be collaborative/want the enhanced features
With my agent, I have extensively used both and Obsidian is far better because the agent reads/writes directly with no API, no rate limits, no Notion block structure.
If you have ever tried to write and make extensive collaborative edits to something like a PRD in Notion with an agent, it’s a nightmare.
Works better bc it's all plain markdown on disk, plus you own your own files i.e. no vendor lock in. $4/mo sync imo is well worth.
