#StormDave has been named, becoming the 4th named storm of the 2025/26 UK storm season and the third storm to be named in the month of April, joining Kathleen and Hannah. With the naming of Storm Dave, it also becomes the latest 'D' named storm on record, beating storm Doris (21 Feb).

British Airways have announced they will open a 3 aircraft base at Manchester.
Initial routes will be New York, Orlando and Las Vegas, starting March 2027.
Base is to compensate for the loss of Aer Lingus and to keep an IAG presence on long haul.
