@zachbollinger18 Its kinda like how guys with giant trucks have tiny dicks. But with billionaires instead
English

@MikeyHotspurs Still need to fix the front 3 of this doesn't mean much
English

RATING SPURS SIGNINGS SO FAR
ANDREW ROBERTSON 8/10
He will give the squad a much needed boost. He’s a leader and at 32 still has lots of football left to play
MARCO SENESI 9/10
One of the best centre backs in the league, fantastic with the ball at his feet and can defend well. Oh and let’s not forget we got him on a free
JAN PAUL VAN HECKE 10/10
One of the best ball playing defenders in the world, very good in the air and still not even in his prime. He will go on to be a massive player for Spurs. Bargain at £52 million
TOP TRANSFER WINDOW SO FAR
English

@Moodak Nothing new, both tottenham and real madrid have similar systems, Madrid is actually insane they can have their grass pitch underneath the concrete slab and keep it watered and growing
English

Wait until the Europeans learn that the grass in Arizona is on a giant track system and can exist both inside and outside

♱@utddahnny
we were lied to about the united states
English

@jmhorp And they were 4 of the best games of the tournament so far
English

@Broncos4six Dude the world cup is on, best event in sports. This is the best month of the year
English

@WelBeast Watch 8-9 NFL games per year in them, some do multiple sports but not many, most have some concerts during the year
English

@matthewdmarsden Actually, it's because they support and donate to groups that advocate for the use of conversion therapy. Something that has been banned all over the world. Also Popeyes is better anyway
English

@koestreicher34 Why does anyone listen to the walking CTE man
English

Former Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger on the Ravens
I think they’re falling apart. I don’t think they’re the same team...They just feel different. They feel like their window closed...To me, losing Harbaugh, King Henry’s a year older, his body’s taking a beating, what’s was going on with Lamar last year? He just didn’t seem like the Lamar that we’ve been used to seeing"

English

@Michaelfiore I didn't find your post triggering, you pointed out the places FIFA has gone because of backroom deals. Any western European country could easily hold a world cup with almost zero major investment.
English

@BryanJMachi @gustav0cardenas Finding another 5 host cities would not have been a problem. Baltimore, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Phoenix, any of 3 spots in Ohio,
English

@xAlexTHFC The Azteca is a 1 of a kind place. None of the US stadiums have anything like that atmosphere.
English

We may have lost the stadium debate with North America ngl
Roberto Haz@tudimebeto
Esta fotografía del Estadio Azteca merece estar en el Museo del Louvre✨
English

@Lilywhite_Rose After that performance today I dont think they have a chance
English

I’m going for Brazil 🇧🇷 to win the FIFA World Cup. Who you going for?

Sky Bet@SkyBet
"You know who I'm interested to see" 👀 Micah and Roy discuss the World Cup favourites - and Roy has a dark horse in mind...
English

@owenthfc__ All the US stadiums are NFL stadiums, those fans only need to be loud for 15-25 seconds at a time, and the noise is just from total people. There are only a handful that truly have any feel of an English football ground.
English

Mainly because of the stadiums. I think the US has some really nice looking stadiums that will suit the aesthetics of a World Cup. Don't get me wrong they're not great when it comes to club football, they're hardly intimidating. But for a setting like the World Cup where it's meant to feel festive, I think they go hand in hand
English

@liabinkin No but they could do 11am which is much better than 3pm for the first game of the day
English

Some of you can’t go one day without complaining
“There’s no football being played during the day.”
Maybe because it’s 7:00 a.m. on the East Coast, and you still have the West Coast, which is three hours behind that.
Why would matches be scheduled around your local time? Do you expect players to be kicking off at 7:00 a.m. local time just so it lines up better for you?
That’s not how international football works.
English

@CanMNTonly Exactly! Absolutely have to smash Qatar, Swiss didn't look great today Bosnia could upset them
English

The goal isn’t advancing! If you can’t beat Qatar you don’t deserve to advance. The goal is winning the group and playing knockout matches in Canada. #CanMNT
Faizal Khamisa@FaizalKhamisa
I actually agree with this, and made this point this morning. A draw is likely the worst result for Canada in terms of advancing in general. If the goal is to win the group, then it's ok, but Canada has Switzerland last, and that's a risk if you don't pick up all 3 on Thursday.
English

@FootballInT80s I live in canada and even I find these kick off times terrible. The last game doesn't start till 10pm my time. Which is midnight on the east coast where most people live.
English

There’s a lot of discourse around the kick-off times in this World Cup.
We all knew it was being held in the US, in a different time zone, didn’t we?
Were the kick-off times the same in 1994, or, because England weren’t there, did we simply not notice?
Or do people just enjoy finding something to be outraged by in the age of social media?
English

@The1TrueMark @westhamfan86 They also didn't cut away for ads during those ones
English

@westhamfan86 The drinks breaks were also at the last world cup, did you complain then?
English

5 seconds to take a throw in
8 seconds to take a goal kick
10 seconds to make a sub
3 minutes to have a drink of water
Make it make sense please.
I get needing a drink in this heat but these are professional athletes. A minute should be plenty.
But no FIFA have to allow the US time for an advert.
English

Game 3
Bosnia: played against Canada like they were a big European opponent, would’ve loved to see them get on the front foot more, ridiculous defense though to secure a point
Canada: first-ever point at a World Cup and it feels like 2 dropped, really good display without two of their best players, need to start another scorer with David next time because Promise David and Larin looked very dangerous
English

@aylwardCA @HantsTaylor @CANMNT_Official @GE_Appliances I dont think either of us need to eat our words. Larin did what he normally does. He did have more energy than JD did but neither was honestly great.
English

@wcramone @HantsTaylor @CANMNT_Official @GE_Appliances Well I will happily eat my words. Well done 👏 young man.
English

Today’s starters, presented by @GE_Appliances
🍁 JD and Tani up top
🍁 Max is in goal
🍁 Staqs captains the side
LET’S GO CANADA!
