You know better than anyone the golden era of Croatia and the world class talents they had. None of them had this hype at Vuskovic's age barring maybe Kovacic. Perisic at 19 was in Sochaux's B team, Modric was still in Croatia at 19 & Rakitic was in Switzerland. No doubt Vuskovic is a really talented player but I have doubts about his mentality and attitude

@owenthfc__ Yeah I'm not a fan of our players getting too much hype especially too early. Could obviously be biased but in history you don't tend to get too many overrated Eastern European players and that appeals to me.

Lens is a bit like the Bournemouth/Brentford job where the foundations are there for the manager to succeed because even before him Franck Haise was also top. But Sage still had them in a title race with the greatest PSG side ever which obviously deserves credit. Even won the French cup. But what he did at Lyon was also really impressive. Took over when they were in the relegation zone and immediately got results taking them to Europe and even a French Cup final.

He never sounded arsed while talking about us way before De Zerbi was even appointed. At Hamburg and even Westerlo.
