Here’s the final updated major confirmed info we know about NBA 2K24 so far: - NBA 2K24 will have a regional release releasing on September 8th in your region - There will be 2 affilations instead of 4 that will battle for rewards; Elite led by LD2K and Rise led by Shakedown2012 - Rise will get playmaking and finishing boosts while Elite gets shooting and defensive boosts. None of these boosts will count forwards badges or animations - With the new badge system the way you play on the court is going to reflect how your badges get shaped” in NBA 2K24. Meaning you can lose or gain badges based on your badge usage. Floor setters earned through seasons can be used to prevent badges from dropping below a certain tier - Badges Removed in NBA 2K24: Limitless Takeoff, Bully, Clamp Breaker, Menace, Mismatch Expert, Quick First Step, Vice Grip, Amped, Clutch Shooter, Floor General, Volume Shooter. - The old Quick First Step is now split in two. One for driving from perimeter for smaller players, one for interior and bigger players. In MC, can't have both. - Pass Accuracy ratings will work similar to NBA 2K23 - As soon as you reach the attributes for a bronze badge you will get it without grinding it - Gym Rat is no longer in the game - You can no longer choose body type you will have to go to the Gatorade gym to upgrade your body type - Layups are green or miss for park in NBA 2K24 but you have the option to turn off layup timing - NBA 2K24 will have 77 total badges and 24 new badges - In NBA 2K24 Next Gen, badges have been split into four tiers: S-, A-, B-, and C-Tier, with S-Tier badges being regarded as the best of the lot. Sticking to the course from NBA 2K23, a player’s height determines Tier assignments, and each badge has a unique set of attribute requirements for unlocking the use of the badge. - Cross play will be on Next Gen only (PlayStation and Xbox can play together) - Park Rep is back only on Next Gen it will go from Rookie to a new rep called Top 10. Top 10 will represent the 10 highest reps in the game and you will get special rewards for being in top 10 but if you lose your top 10 spot you will also lose your rewards. - There is a new takeover system that will allow you to choose whatever takeover you want to activate when you get it instead of it being pre-selected - The Takeovers have been re-worked into 5 different takeovers representing the attribute categories: Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, Defense/Rebounding and Physicals; so Rim, Lock, Post-Scoring and Shot-Creating are gone - Adrenaline has been re-worked to affect shooting not movement on offense and to decrease your steal and block ratings when you use on defense -Pro Play a new feature that records games will give us a ton of new realistic animations with Mike Wang saying there will be over 150 new animations. - MyCareer and MyTeam will have combined season levels with each level giving a MyCareer and MyTeam Reward - You can buy levels - There will be new premium season passes you can buy for extra rewards - Green or Miss (you have to green to make the shot) will be in 2K24 for Park, Rec and playing on HOF but whites will go in for all other modes or difficulties - Using No Shot Meter will increase your green window by 20% - Mike Wang has said the cross launch and walk back will be patched in NBA 2K24 - Quick drops have been removed - A new Lebron Era was added in MyNBA - There is a new jumpshot rating replacing Timing Impact called Shot Timing Stability. The higher the rating the less amount of different releases you will get - Defensive Immunity jumpshot rating will be huge in 2K24. Having a High rating will lower the contests on your shots by 30% - Next Gen will have an All-New City a trailer was dropped for - Current Gen has an All-New Neighborhood we got a trailer showing I think that’s everything huge but if I missed something let me know
