Russia's political stance towards Poland was shaped in recent years as a RESPONSE to the Polish political stance towards Russia. An overwhelming majority of ordinary Russians don't have negative feelings towards ordinary Poles, which you can't say about an overwhelming majority of Poles towards Russians. And yes, of course we remember this, and are grateful to you. Those fires were choking the city for weeks.

🚒 🇵🇱 🇷🇺 🔥 In 2010, Poland sent a rescue mission to Russia to help extinguish catastrophic forest and peat bog fires near Moscow. This was a response to a request from the Russian side, in the face of a heat wave and fires that killed more than 50 people. About 160 Polish firefighters from the State Fire Service went to Russia. The Poles took 45 vehicles with them, including fire trucks, tankers, high-capacity pumps for water supply, as well as logistics equipment and sanitary containers. ---------- Do Russians still remember this? Don't you see what the politicians and media in Poland and Russia have led to? Who would have thought today that something like this could happen?
