I've updated my zobotics website with a "Looking for opportunities" section. Still vibing in circles on the wording, but this is the gist. If you would like to chat or our previous chat didn't happen for whatever reason I've added a Cal link. Link in my profile.

@zobotics Margins to zero means race to the bottom. How exactly is that bullish?

@KyleVedder Oh well. Creative destruction is a good thing. Won't happen over night though. Plenty of time for earnings. Every day life is humanoids. Who cares what the ants are doing underground.

@zobotics why? if u raised hundreds of millions to develop humanoids and then get competed to zero on margins for said humanoids, ur gonna be very sad and notably โ€œzero margins for humanoidsโ€ =/= โ€œzero margins for non humanoidsโ€ might still get rekt by domain specific hardware

Set is ready @ElonMusk We built it 25min from downtown Austin and can shoot anytime in the next 7 days on 1h notice. Humanity is on the verge of becoming a multi-planet species and spacefaring civilization. My goal with this interview is to help people viscerally feel what that future is going to look like and get everyone excited to help build it.
Ti Morse@ti_morse

I guess this is a good time to announce we are currently in the process of building a set for an interview with Elon. Will be finished next month and should be legendary. Elon - lmk if you're in

Employers should pay what the market demands for that labor in that time and place. Can you argue it should be any different? The problem might be that if you're taking a warehouse job, you're COMPETING with people who have roommates, or who live with parents, or whatever. Would you deny them the job because it's inconvenient to you?

BOOMER UNCLE: "Nobody wants to work anymore." ME: "The warehouse near me starts at $16 an hour." BOOMER UNCLE: "Sounds fair." ME: "Average rent here is $1,900." BOOMER UNCLE: "People need roommates." Funny how every solution involves workers sacrificing more. Never employers paying more.

If you've ever played with a Haption setup you know how cool they can be. This setup must be incredible. Haption VIRTUOSE 6D connected to the SenseGlove R1 in combination with the Tesollo DG 5F hand equipped with sensors from XELA Robotics Co., Ltd.

~"It's gonna be like an iphone or car situation. I don't want a cheap one, or a dinky one. I want a brand name one." There will be absolutely zero brand loyalty in the same way there is absolutely zero brand loyalty for models. Latest and cheapest good-enough wins each day.

@zobotics @plastic_gear In the short term these things are annoying, but if youโ€™re not just doing research but trying to make it work long term you need something that scales and we just see with our bimanual grippers, that teleoperation is not very scalable.

I really was making things difficult for myself with the last robot at 150cm. 160cm is much easier. Even the shoulder actuator from my XPRIZE robot almost fits.
