I have been in the VA system for decades (screwed by it mostly), and helped hundreds as a post service officer for the VFW get registered with various VSOs and accredited reps. I have seen ONE case out of god knows how many that was fraud the VA did not catch. (I caught that one and they are doing 5 years in prison for it rn). I despise fraud. It’s what has made the VA treat vets with real disabilities like criminals.

So a lot of older vets (guys more to actually deserve it) aren't in on the scam yet. Also not every single scammer gets 100% - although many do.
