"Wireless Festival is cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket holders. As with every Wireless Festival, multiple stakeholders were consulted in advance of booking YE and no concerns were highlighted at the time.
"Antisemitism in all its forms is abhorrent, and we recognise the real and personal impact these issues have had. As YE said today, he acknowledges that words alone are not enough, and in spite of this still hopes to be given the opportunity to begin a conversation with the Jewish community in the UK"

Rockstar Energy is withdrawing its sponsorship of Wireless Festival in light of Ye headlining the event. It is now the fourth brand to distance itself from the festival, following Pepsi, Diageo, and PayPal. (via Far Out Magazine)

My take on Ye in the UK:
The UK isn’t to blame for who’s in charge there or the decisions they make. But it’s a shame they can’t enjoy the greatest artist of all time when they already know who Ye is and everything that’s always surrounded him. Still, since they don’t see his value, they try to push him aside like he’s someone they can just ignore, while at the same time supporting things that don’t even make sense to support. Time will tell, we’ll see what happens. But Pepsi backing things like genocides, and PayPal pulling out now after already making money from ticket sales, says a lot more about them than it does about Ye.
