@HoodlumCallum Magcargo gets to lean into its silly Pokedex lore and gets an ability to nullify Water moves, along with a small buff to its Fire moves. And it gets a bit more of a stat buff. I like my favourite, Alakazam, as is... Or maybe it could do with a boost, gotta think.

@idiotsyncratic0 This actually feels like it hits the mark so well. Surge's implied PTSD has probably made him way too dependant on his two close comrades, like a sense of 'I'm not losing any more men, damn it' and it would hurt a lot. Seeing him grow past that would be so satisfying.

I like it. I think it's really healthy for the triad to spend years away from each other and later come back and appreciate their friendship tenfold because of it. Some very pivotal moments of their lives together are actually when they're away from each other 🫶 Thanks anon!
