Treasurer-General of the EFF and Member of Parliament, Hon. @OmphileMaotwe , People earn a salary and are taxed. They buy food and are taxed. They pay for basic services and are taxed. They are taxed on money that has already been taxed. Yet those who draft these laws refuse to explain, in a language people understand, why they are being taxed in this manner.

SAPS warn South Africans about fraudulent online casting scam South African Police Service (SAPS) have issued a stern warning to the public regarding a man identified as Ivo Suzee, who allegedly operates a fraudulent online casting and recruitment service called “African Audition.” According to officials, Suzee uses deceptive advertisements and false promises of modelling or entertainment work to lure women and young girls under the guise of interviews or auditions. Once victims attend these so-called opportunities, they are reportedly sexually exploited, with some auditions or interviews recorded and the explicit material subsequently distributed or publicised. Authorities said the actions contravene the Cybercrimes Act 19 of 2020, the Films and Publications Act 65 of 1996 (as amended), as well as sexual and other related offences. Members of the public are urged to exercise extreme caution, thoroughly verify all recruitment or casting opportunities, and immediately report any suspicious approaches or activities to law enforcement agencies. “This is a serious matter that poses a direct threat to young women and girls,” said SAPS officials. “We encourage the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity without delay.”

1.The programme director should have rendered the apology if it was genuinely sincere, rather than appearing as an afterthought or a piece of spin. 2.A traffic jam caused by 20,000 people attending a one-day event in a village is an admission of incompetence. Proper planning should include a clear traffic control strategy for the day. The fact that people were left stuck in traffic reflects a broader failure—one that mirrors the daily congestion experienced in major cities and which confirms mediocrity and incompetence. 3.Revolutionaries do not hide from the sun; hence the phrase: “There is no rain in the revolution, but the revolution is in the rain.”🤷🏿‍♂️
