The greatest let down of the alternative has been to consistently participate and authentic Zanu PF processes already skewed against it and then later turn around and cry foul when the outcome goes against it. The weakness of always reacting to the opponent's planned action as opposed to activating it's own clear plan. Initially 2030 agenda was unconstitutional and illegal, now we are saying there must be a referendum, again we are "mobilizing" and calling people to attend "Public hearings" of a process that has nothing to do with a referendum and which is a culmination of Zanu PF resolutions. Of course very aggressive online but with zero to no presence on the ground. These "Public hearings" will be done far away from social media and in the majority of places where many of us have never set foot. But again the script is very predictable our people isolated and vulnerable will be targeted and we come again online making noise! A time must come where we must define who really we are and what we want and how we must achieve our objectives..

@0201199d @mamakaCleo I used to think that way until I started following Strive Masiyiwa closely. I began reading one book per month, and it really opened my mind. I stopped blaming ZANU, and now I’m running two butcheries one in Victoria Falls and one in Zambia.I’ve created opportunities for six pple

Sanctions destroyed pension, the investments the savings were invested in and the savings and wealth of all Zimbabweans. We can’t be surprised knowing that as a nation we were under sanctions for 24 years. This is why sanctions are declared an illegal form of warfare even though shooting people and dropping bombs on them is legal warfare.

Had a catch up coffee with one of my mentors Dr. @ShingiMunyeza this morning. We go back years to my articles days at EY in the 90's. I was gobsmacked when he showed me his SMS notification for his pension for all his years of work was a measly $249. He explained to me that he was one of the few who is actually lucky to get that much despite of the 100's of millions he has had to handle and generate in the Zim economy over his lifetime of corporate service and business ownership. $249... damn. My mother for example ( a teacher for over 50 yrs) gets about $5. One of the top 20 highest achievers of our nation get $249? He told me that he read my post from earlier and that the new problem we have is that we are trying to paint, bolt and secure the gates of sanity for our nation when there is NO fence or wall to make the gate even make sense. We expect people to use this proverbial gate of normalcy yet its often easier and more convenient to just go around it. "THERE IS NO FENCE KUDA!!", he reiterated... F****. That Hit home... here i am telling y'all to paint your mama's gate, but there is no fence... whats the point? He left me with a lot to think about. 😢

Zimbabwe is now optimised for three types of people: 40+ rich males, hot young women, and the politically connected male with narcissistic personality disorder and a heavy dose of the Dunning–Kruger effect. Everyone else in the grey area is basically a spectator. When a society descends into this perpetual “race to the bottom” of anti-intellectualism, feja feja mbingarism, and megalomaniacs with main-character syndrome… it’s doomed. What will happen to the majority of jobless young males who will struggle to find a mate or career? Or the talented young females who can’t get a job without being sexually harassed or expected to pander to male elites as a norm? How will they find husbands from a pool of demotivated young graduate males , who dance in pampers for an ex-jap, smeared in baby powder? What happens to the family unit that builds a society, as our feeds are now filled with Tinashe Mugabe-esque drama and marriage breakdowns? We will continue to follow global trends of the societies we most want to mirror. Our kids will continue to sink into AI slop and brain rot on the cheaper devices of mass distraction we connect to Starlink for $30 per month. Why? Because the parents are in the swamp being distracted too. Something will have to give. The solutions are going to be far more painful than we are willing to endure. Just random thoughts. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

I beg to differ strongly mukoma, Sir Wicknell Chivhayo does fit in both the category and definition of a business man, and as a matter of fact i have not received anything from him, incase you accuse me of bias, my support for him is purely out of respect and admiration for his moves! Mukoma any individual with strong understanding of business and making money is by definition a business person. Personally I define business as an art of making money… I am so learned and i have businesses with hundreds of employees, but i do not consider my self in any way, a more businessman than Sir…Bvumai varume, Madzibaba kumberi… It is so easy to attack him, and find support to gang up on him but factually he does fit in the definition of a businessman, and probably the greatest Philanthropist to ever grace Zimbabwe. The first time i met Sir Wicknell years back, i gave him money not the other way around…i strongly believe you can attract what you respect… How are we so jealous enough to belittle a man who closes down business deals worth millions and billions of dollars. Unfortunately a businessman is not defined by number of employees or owning businesses that benefit a society or community in a way we want, a business is an enterprise that sells goods or services for profit… How then is he disqualified from this definition. He is by far one of the smartest one infact, try meet presidents from different countries and see if it’s ts so easy as he makes it look… He mastered the art of connection, which is simply in layman’s terms, today’s business order.
mmatigari@matigary

No one doubts that Strive Masiyiwa, or Obey Chimuka or Musanhi or some such people are businessmen. But noone believes that Wicknell is a businessman. Absolutely no one, including Wicknell himself. No one of average or above average IQ believes such nonsense.

Facts about X in Zim Activists, Politicians and Journalists lead conversations, narratives and agenda 24/7, 365… Wonder why we are always engaged in a political mode. This is regressive and so burdensome we are arguing about past years events, encouraged to hate the people with the means of production, looking for growth on this platform kutokweva dovi ne straw… Business people and creatives should lead conversations and narratives of the day if we want progress… Dear Mentee You cant always be in a political mode day in day out… lets talk development and be innovative and above all do business not politics day in day out CEO We need another Village 6 moment 🔥🔥were we are united by love and ideas

🚦 Exciting Update: Harare's Infrastructure Transformation Accelerates 🚦 This afternoon, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Hon. Advocate FT Mhona, alongside Secretary Eng. J. P Makumbe and a delegation of senior government officials and stakeholders, toured of the newly completed diversion routes for the landmark Mabvuku Interchange Project. This project stands as yet another definitive testament to the Government's unwavering commitment to national development and its strategic trajectory towards achieving an Upper Middle-Income Society by 2030 through connectivity and ease of doing business. 🔑 Key Project Updates: · The diversion routes will be officially opened to traffic tomorrow, Tuesday the 9th of September 2025. This critical step paves the way for the immediate commencement of foundation work for the main interchange. · Additionally, another interchange will be constructed at the Msasa (Mutare Road/Harare Drive) Roundabout and this project is scheduled to commence 01 October 2025. · Both the Mabvuku and Msasa Interchanges are on track for simultaneous completion by Friday, the 31st of July 2026. · Meanwhile the divergent routes at the Mabvuku interchange have been designed to enable traffic flow with minimal disruptions. 🏗️ Scope & Benefits: The scope of work involves upgrading the Mabvuku and Jaggers Msasa junctions into modern, grade-separated interchanges, complemented by 50km of new diversion roads. Upon completion, citizens can expect a multitude of benefits: • Traffic & Transportation: Significant reduction in congestion and shorter travel times by eliminating stops at intersections. Improved connectivity for the Harare-Mutare highway, a vital part of the Beira Corridor. • Safety: Drastic reduction in accidents at these high-risk intersections. Dedicated, safe pedestrian walkways on the overpass. Enhanced response times for emergency services. • Economic & Environmental: Lower vehicle emissions due to reduced idling. Long-term savings from reduced road maintenance and accident-related costs. Boosted economic efficiency and potential for local development. The Government calls for the public's continued patience and support as this essential national development project takes shape. This is not an isolated project but part of a continued, ambitious infrastructure development trajectory. #PartnersForProgress #BeOneInAMillion #LeavingNooneAndNoPlaceBehind #KmByKm
