Under the leadership of Governor Sakaja Arthur Johnson, the Nairobi City County Development Control Policy 2026 is officially here!
Our city is growing fast, and it’s time to ensure that growth benefits everyone. The Nairobi City County Development Control Policy 2026 is our collective blueprint to eliminate chaotic, unchecked construction and protect our communities.
*What this means for you:*
1. *Active Collaboration* : Created in partnership with resident associations and local communities.
2. *Zoning Protection:* Clear height, density, and environmental safeguards for your neighborhood.
3. *Better Infrastructure:* Direct alignment of new buildings with available water, sewer, and road networks.
Let's work together to protect our public spaces and build a beautiful, livable Nairobi for generations to come.

@SakajaJohnson issued State House with a 14-day notice to demolish the encroaching boundary wall on the Kirichwa Kubwa River riparian reserve. The officials inspected the site and marked the sections of the wall intruding into the river reserve to facilitate the demolition. President William Ruto had earlier pledged full compliance with the directive.
