@philllewellyn While i believe you’re right in law… In this situation, do you think it’s right to reward the attacking team with a penalty or defending team with a scrum? Would that change if the attacking team were going forward?

Can’t remember who I was talking with about this but a prime example of officials not even looking at who collapses the maul following a tackle. Not a dig at Barnes, just a general observation this this stuff is almost never looked at or penalised and I can’t work out why!
