I got back to my office after the vote tonight and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened tonight. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.

My organization, the American Mobilization Project, is funding a group of doctors and nurses organizing against Trump's Medicaid cuts. I was supposed to be with them in Michigan today as they phone bank Senators, but I'm stuck in DC. So I called their leaders to say thanks.

3/ A taste of what we are doing: We formed a $200,000 partnership with the Committee to Protect Health Care. They organize doctors and nurses to fight the Medicaid cuts in key states. Already, 4,000 doctors have signed up to take action.
