i bought $2m of pepe a few days ago (i'm all bulled up). screenshot attached. i'm not gonna repeat the meme thesis from yesterday's fartcoin buy post. but why pepe? last few weeks i reassessed my eth thesis and i decided i was probably wrong and needed some exposure to the ecosystem. eth has been a punching bag for the last several years but is still valued 5x sol mcap. the market clearly respects it, however sentiment is in the dump unlike the previous bear where expectations were sky high. solana and ethereum both doing well is about the highest confidence call i've got for the upcoming cycle. but buying those felt a little too boomer for me so i opted for what i consider to be leveraged positions in S tier memes. pepe is 90% down from ath currently at 1.1b mcap, only in it's second cycle, has multiple tier 1 cex listings and the money on eth runs deep. if eth does well, the frog likely runs with it. it crossed my mind i'm too meme heavy after buying fartcoin too. if my meme thesis is wrong, or these two meaningfully lose mindshare to other memes then they bleed together and you'll see some ugly screenshots. but that's a future problem. right now it... feels good, man.
