俺は19歳の時に誰にも言わず、
自分だけに約束した。
「現役でアルバムを10枚残す」

ただ、人生を懸けるなら、
それくらい大きい約束が欲しかってん。
あれから何年も経って、
勝った日もあれば、負けた日もあった。
誰も居らんくなった夜もあった。
もう終わりなんかなと思った日もあった。
それでも、何回倒れても立ち上がって、
マイクだけは絶対離さんかった。
だから今日、胸を張って言える。
7枚目まで来た。
あと3枚。
数字だけ見たら、たった3枚。
でも俺にとっては、
残された人生を削って作る3枚や。
もう若手じゃない。
だからこそ、時間がどれだけ残酷かも知ってる。
人はいつかステージを降りる。
その日は必ず来る。
でも、降りるその日まで、
「まだこいつを見届けたい。」
そう思ってもらえる人間でいたい。
もし俺の音楽で、
誰かがもう一日頑張れたなら
もし俺の生き方で、
誰かが夢を諦めんかったなら
それだけで、この人生に意味がある思う。
今年は横浜アリーナも控えてる。
ここから先は、
俺一人で作る物語じゃない
今まで歩いてきたみんなと、
最後まで一緒に走る物語や。

When I was 19, I made a promise to myself. I never told anyone. “I’m going to release 10 albums before I walk away from this game.” People could laugh. People could say it was impossible. I didn’t care. If I was going to dedicate my life to something, it had to be a promise that big. Years have passed since then. I’ve had days where I won, and days where I lost. There were nights when I felt completely alone, and moments I honestly thought it was over. But no matter how many times life knocked me down, I never let go of the mic. Today, I can finally say this with pride. I’ve made it to Album No. 7. Three more to go. To some people, it’s just three albums. To me, it’s the rest of my life poured into three final chapters. I’m not the young kid I used to be. I know time is undefeated, and every artist steps off the stage one day. My day will come too. But until then, I want to be the artist people still believe in—the one they want to see all the way to the finish line. If my music helped someone make it through one more day, or if my journey gave someone the courage to never give up on their dream, then every sacrifice has been worth it. This year, Yokohama Arena is waiting. From this point on, this isn’t my story alone. It’s the story of everyone who’s been walking beside me all these years. We’re not done yet.
