MY FUCKING ALARMS D I D N O T GO OFF THIS MORNING AND I AM COMPETELY FUCKED. @apple FUCKING FIX THIS. I MIGHT BE FIRED. I WOKE UP AND THE ALARMS WERE SILENTLY GOING OFF.
@OlisCory@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV Then why didn't the person who was behind the wheel of the Tesla? You are supposed to stay alert at all times, which the driver obviously wasn't. Only once it realized this did the Tesla intervene.
@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV People need to understand that 'Not killing a person' is not the same thing as 'saving a life'.
A human driver would've honked and gone to the left lane some 200 yards before Tesla's FSD figured there was someone on the road and made a dangerous manouvre to 'not kill them'.
Tesla FSD just saved two lives on the highway.
A man walked straight into traffic in heavy fog/rain at 65+ mph. The Model 3 spotted him and swerved safely. Could’ve been fatal for both the pedestrian and my cousin driving. Insane reaction time.
Grateful for @elonmusk@Tesla
@SteveZfxx9@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV That Tesla did NOT do a great job.
Even in the provided video, I could see the person walk onto the road MUCH before the Tesla swerved.
It also never slowed down. What if it was a child running across the road? It still might've hit him by not slowing down
@saltytunafish1@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV Everybody saying a human would do a better job obviously doesn't understand that there is literally a human behind the wheel of the Tesla who was obviously not paying attention. Only when this was obvious to the Tesla did it make the avoiding maneuver.
@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV An actual human driver would have been slowing down the second they saw the nut job was going to walk into the road. The response from FSD was late so all it could do as swerve. PS it didn't perform bad all things considered but not up to par of an alert human driver.
@ogorlyog@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV There's a human behind the wheel of the Tesla so WTF are you talking about? He obviously wasn't paying attention and would have hit the guy if it wasn't for the Tesla.
@plainsman_32@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV Theoretical?? Yeah just because you don't pay attention while you drive doesn't mean other people are like you. The arrogance you have is like wearing a clown costume to a business meeting.
@ZforZaayett@Echoez_of_tRuTh@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV The tech is great and I love Tesla. But my god, you have to be absolutely stupid to drive into the smoke the way this Tesla and the other idiot did, this was my only point.
Only someone who shouldnt have a licence would have drove into what was clearly a huge hazard
@Echoez_of_tRuTh@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV Great avoidance, but completely unnecessary and stupid!
A human driver is slowing down immediately upon seeing the smoke and would easily stop once the other car’s brake lights light up.
@Echoez_of_tRuTh@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV Any human who was not drunk or falling asleep could have handled it better by slowing down and pulling over before going into the smoke cloud. Driving into that was dangerous and the owner of the car should have taken over before the video even started.
@Echoez_of_tRuTh@ElliotCohe74430@elonmusk@Tesla@teslaownersSV The fact the Tesla drive into the cloud of smoke AT ALL is a serious indictment of the FSD system.
A total failure on both the FSD system AND the Musk knob polishers who view this performance as safe and effective.
