none of my twt-only friends have responded to my dms since i officially left this site. that said, one of my friends i have other ways to talk to told me that if you refused to update the app after a certain point, you cant even see your dms.

@RedLion800 yeah, i had to set a PIN to access them when I logged in to DM some peeps about my newsletter. because I had no new DMs though, so it showed no blips and I can't tell if I would have seen the blips before unlocking if i had new DMs

@0li0s Getting into the DM tab has been weirder since a certain update. Perhaps the friends in question don't use DMs too often so they didn't know they needed to do a certain security thing to get in and stuff.

@n0Productions i use bs every day, but i only log in here once every few months. i objectively feel worse every time i spend even a few minutes here so I only log in to try to check on said friends and also certain artists who don't post anywhere else
